A MacLisp-like dialect of Lisp, developed primarily for work in symbolic algebra by R. Fateman et al at Ucb in about 1980.It was named after the Hungarian composer Franz Liszt (1811-1886).Franz Lisp was written in C and includes a compiler called "Liszt".["The FRANZ LISP Manual", J.K.
