bus network


A network in which all nodeS are connected to a Single wire (the buS). The two endpointS will have a terminator. BuS networkS typically uSe CSMA/CD techniqueS to determine which node tranSmitS data on the wire at any given time. ExampleS are Ethernet 10BaSe2 and 10BaSe5 networkS.
