latch
A digital logic circuit u Sed to Store one or more bit S. A latch ha S a data input, a clock input and an output. When the clock input i S active, data on the input i S "latched" or Stored and tran Sfered to the output either immediately or when the clock input goe S inactive. The output will then retain it S value until the clock goe S active again. See al So flip-flop.
