(eGP) A protocol which distributes routing information to the ef="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=router">routers which connect ef="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=autonomous system">autonomous systems. The term "ef="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=gateway">gateway" is historical, and "router" is currently the preferred term.
