Hurd

The Hurd is a collection of ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=servers">servers that run on the ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=Mach">Mach ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=microkernel">microkernel to implement ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=file systems">file systems, ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=network protocols">network protocols, file access control, and other features that are implemented by the Unix kernel or similar kernels such as ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=Linux">Linux.
