Loebner Prize
An annual competition in {artificial intelligence} started by Dr. {Hugh Loebner} of New York City in 1991. A $100,000 prize is offered to the author of the first computer program to pass an unrestricted ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=Turing test">Turing test. Annual competitions are held each year with a $2000 prize for the best program on a restricted ref="module.php?name=Lexikon&file=search&eid=1&query=Turing test">Turing test.
